UK Rack Inspection – The Meaning Behind Our Ticks

When we started UK Rack Inspection Ltd, we weren’t looking for something flashy. We wanted a logo that was bright, bold and simple.

No fuss. No overthinking. Just something that represented exactly how we work.

So we didn’t go to a design studio….We started doodling.

Ian and Anthony were having a catch-up before the company officially launched — the kind of meeting where you’re supposed to be focusing on serious business planning. Instead, ideas started appearing on a notepad. Quick sketches. Rough lines. Thinking out loud with a pen in hand.

And then it clicked….

Three ticks… The colours of the SEMA risk classification. The system that sits at the heart of professional rack inspection. Clear categories. Clear decisions. Clear action.

🔴 Red Risk – Immediate Action

🟠 Amber Risk – Action Required

🟢 Green Risk – Monitor

That’s the system we use every day in warehouses across the UK. It’s structured, straightforward and easy to understand — because racking safety shouldn’t be complicated.

Those ticks stand for clarity in reporting, confidence in decision-making and competence in inspection. They reflect the standards we work to as SEMA Approved Rack Inspectors, backed by years of hands-on experience inside real warehouse environments.

It started as a doodle… Now it represents something simple:

  • We inspect properly.
  • We report clearly.
  • We call it as it is.

The logo for UK Rack Inspection Ltd. features three checkmarks in the colors red, orange, and green. The company name is written in black text above the checkmarks, and the word “Ltd.” is written in smaller black text below the green checkmark.

The logo is simple and visually appealing, and it effectively conveys the company’s mission of providing safe and reliable racking inspections. The use of checkmarks is a clever way to symbolise the company’s commitment to quality and accuracy.
